ARCHIE

MOOSE
Rhinelander | Born 2013
BERT
Dutch Warmblood | Born 2001
Friendly, calm and easygoing, Archie is a natural ambassador for the Mounted Unit. He enjoys meeting visitors, posing for photos and receiving a gentle scratch on the neck or shoulder.
The only mare in the Mounted Unit, Moose is also the tallest at 17.3 hands. This gentle giant is known for her striking presence and big personality. She enjoys exploring Griffith Park, meeting admirers and, of course, horse treats.
The senior member of the Mounted Unit, Bert has plenty of personality. He can be a little stubborn at times, but underneath it all he has a heart of gold. He enjoys leisurely patrols and keeping a close eye on everyone who passes by.
